Mohd. Faraz Anees is an alumnus of Hindu College, University of Delhi, and holds an LL.B. from the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. He is an Advocate on Record (AOR) before the Supreme Court of India, with extensive litigation experience in taxation law, consumer disputes, and criminal law. His legal practice includes appearances before the Supreme Court, various High Courts, the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), and multiple tribunals.

In taxation law, Mohd. Faraz Anees navigates disputes under the Income Tax Act, 1961, Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act, 2017, and customs laws. His work includes tax assessments, appeals, and litigation involving issues like tax evasion and cross-border taxation, often appearing before appellate authorities and courts in New Delhi.

His consumer law practice focuses on the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, addressing cases of defective goods, unfair trade practices, and service disputes, with proceedings before District Forums, State Commissions, and the NCDRC.

Mr. Faraz also appears before the NCLAT (National Company Law Appellate Tribunal) and NCLT in matters relating to corporate law, insolvency and bankruptcy.

In criminal law, he handles matters under the Indian Penal Code (IPC), 1860, including white-collar crimes, fraud, and economic offenses, managing both trial-level defenses and Supreme Court appeals.
